1. Fast mold change with process error-proofing: The magnetic mould change system enables rapid mold changes through a foolproof operating procedure. Any upper or lower mold operation that does not follow the procedure will be rejected by the system.
2. Signal extraction and logic interlocking: Based on the electrical control signal logic of the injection molding machine, the required signals are extracted and linked to achieve signal interaction and logic confirmation with the magnetic mould change system.
3. Optimized magnetic pole layout: The magnetic module design fully takes into account the ejection force and mold opening force, optimizing the magnetic pole layout and dimensions to maximize holding force.
Upon project completion, the magnetic mould change system successfully handled the changeover of 4 molds. Each mold change was reduced from 40–60 minutes to 15–35 minutes, and the number of machine operators was cut from 3 to 2, greatly improving mold change efficiency and production efficiency.
